Queen Kaʻahumanu Center welcomes Linx Hawaiʻi, a unique jewelry boutique founded by local entrepreneur Nicole Ibarra. Linx Hawaiʻi offers an “ultimate permanent jewelry experience,” specializing in custom-designed pieces that cater to individual style and preference, according to an announcement.

Linx Hawaiʻi provides a range of jewelry options, including permanent jewelry, crafted from high-quality 14k gold-filled and sterling silver materials. Customers can design their own bracelets and necklaces, selecting chains, charms and connectors that are custom-fit with the option to add a clasp or secure the piece with a jump ring that is micro-welded.

Nicole Ibarra initially started Linx Hawaiʻi as a side venture, making appearances at pop-up events. This soon evolved into collaborations with local hotels, and now, the opening of a permanent location at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center.

“This is what we’ve always worked toward—this is the ultimate goal. We wanted the mall experience where people can find us easily,” said Ibarra.

In addition to custom jewelry, Linx Hawaiʻi offers a variety of pre-made pieces, including Tahitian pearls, Edison pearls, jade, pīkake beads, and preserved crown flowers. Beyond jewelry, Linx Hawaiʻi sells a collection of totes, pouches, and button-up tops featuring locally designed patterns.

Pediatric Therapies Hawaiʻi is holding grand openings for its new outpatient clinics in Wailuku and Lahaina, announced PTH.

The two new clinics are targeted to areas with limited access to essential healthcare services for children and provide services in multiple disciplines. Its new Lahaina Clinic, at 40 Kupuohi St. #301, and Wailuku Clinic, at 54 Maui Lani Parkway, are its second and third locations. Other locations include: the Upcountry Clinic at 1043 Makawao Ave. Unit 110 in Makawao.

The grand opening event for the Lahaina Clinic will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The grand opening event for the Wailuku Clinic will take place on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The community is invited to join in the celebration.

The events will feature a proclamation from Mayor Richard Bissen, ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the new facilities, interactive demonstrations of therapy services, and music by Uncle Wayne & the Howling Dog Band. Light refreshments will be served.

Its new Lahaina Clinic features an outdoor space to provide comprehensive Physical, Occupational, and now also Behavioral Therapy (ABA) services to support physical, social, and emotional growth and development through play.

Pediatric Therapies Hawaiʻi aims to support the growth and development of children through a holistic and play-based approach to therapy. The clinic’s services include:

• Physical Therapy: Enhances motor skills, mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
