The Maui Economic Development Board, Inc. (MEDB) announces the return of their Ke Alahele Education Fund Benefit Dinner & Auction, themed “Pathways to Our Future.” This signature, in-person event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at the Wailea Beach Resort–Marriott, Maui. The evening will begin with a reception and silent auction at 4:30 p.m., followed by a dinner at 6 p.m.

This year’s event will celebrate the outstanding achievements of students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. Guests can bid on a variety of items in the popular Apples for Education Auction, compete in teams during MEDB’s signature interactive game, and hear inspiring stories of students’ accomplishments in STEM fields.

“Investing in STEM education is investing in our future,” said Leslie Wilkins, President of MEDB. “By equipping our youth with the skills and knowledge they need to face tomorrow’s challenges, we’re strengthening our community and ensuring a vibrant and sustainable future for our islands.”
